Look for the Lorax

Summary of Look for the Lorax: The grumpy, nature-loving Lorax embarks on a wonderland adventure through hills of Truffala trees in a skill-building tale that features such story elements as singing Swomee-Swans and playful Bar-ba-loots, in an early reader's tribute to the environment.

We have LOTS of Tish Rabe's books in our classrooms. She has written dozens for the "Cat in the Hat Learning Library", and in each one she truly has 'channeled' Dr. Seuss. We especially love working her science books into our lessons!  Kids cannot tell the difference (nor adults!), so if you are a fan of Seuss classics, you will definitely be happy adding these to your collection!

Below are the first three spreads from inside this cute. Adorable illustrations, in true Seussian style!  Early readers are SO proud of themselves when they can read books with characters they know from movies or other books. It makes them feel like they are finally "readers" themselves. This book is perfect for that -- appropriately leveled for early readers and fantastic for building their confidence as readers.
