The Skin You Live In
by Michael Tyler & David Csicsko

Rhyming verses and cute, energetic illustrations deliver a happy message about the diversity of human skin. We especially like the descriptions of all the many different colors of skin ("Your butterscotch gold skin,/your lemon tart bold skin;/your mountain high apple pie,/cookie dough rolled skin!").  The message of the book is that what's really important is the "you who's within" your skin. And the illustrations are SO ADORABLE!
