Sir Cumference and
the Dragon of Pi

by Cindy Neuschwander
illustrated by Wayne Geehan

The gang is back, this time introducing
the concept of pi, how to find circumference, and the attributes of a circle.  When Sir Cumference drinks a potion that turns him into a dragon, it's up to Radius to find the cure---the magic number that's the same for all circles (pi)--- in order to get his father back. In our opinion, this title is the strongest of the series.

And, as with many of the other books in this series, this title would definitely work well into middle school. (which is probably a more appropriate age level, given the material being covered.) For more, check the Amazon page for reviews from older grades teachers.
