The Night Before St. Patrick's Day
by Natasha Wing; illustrated by Amy Wummer

It's the night before St. Patrick's Day, and Tim and Maureen are setting traps to catch a leprechaun! When they wake the next morning to the sound of their dad playing the bagpipes and the smell of their mom cooking green eggs, they're shocked to find that they've actually caught a leprechaun.

We love this series. There are books for so many holidays and occassions (ie: first day of school), and even though they are all written on the same premise (spin off of the Twas the Night Before Christmas poem), the plots are always fun and engaging. We probably read 10 of these over the course of a year! :)
