Poinsettia Art Projects The obvious Christmas-themed activity to accompany this book would be to do an art project involving making poinsettias. There are MANY different projects on the internet, with some made out of paper plates, others made from tissue paper, felt, etc. Here are two of our favorites:
Christmas Around the World This is a great book to use if you do a Christmas Around the World unit in your classroom. You can read this book to the class and talk about the festivities surrounding the legend as well as other Christmas legends and traditions in Mexico.
