by Franklyn Branley
illustrated by True Kelley
An interesting and
clearly written basic introduction to thunderstorms, accompanied by
colorful illustrations and informative diagrams. This book will turn an
often scary experience--thunderstorms-- into something less mysterious
and more understandable.
Like other books in the Let's Read and Find Out Science series, this book includes a few related activities at the back of the book. Overall, we agree with School Library Journal, who ended their review with: "Nicely done."
